The centerpiece of Boston Cecilia’s final concert of the season will be Aaron Copland’s tour-de-force setting of the creation story, In The Beginning. The program will also feature works by Randall Thompson (Alleluia and Farewell), Samuel Barber (Reincarnations), Morten Lauridsen (Nocturnes) and Stephen Paulus. Solo songs for mezzo-soprano by Copland and Barber will round out this feast of 20th Century American music.
