Latinas: Music by Women Composers and Arrangers from Latin America

This concert presents women composers, arrangers and writers in different historical periods as well as different music styles; Early Music, inter-related with folk, academic, and popular music. The unifying thread: a woman composed, wrote the lyrics, or arranged each piece. With a special emphasis on Mexico and featuring music of Anonymous, Teodora Ginés, Modesta Bor, Diana Arismendi, and others.
