Saturday, December 3: was Brookline’s first Community Open Mic




This event was held at the public library of Brookline at Coolidge Corner from 2-4pm on Saturday, December 3.



The Celebrate Music series was a new offering for Arts Brookline this year, and brought a spectrum of musical performances to Brookline.  The first free concerts of this series took place in Hunneman Hall, Brookline Main Library, during April, May and June and included classical, jazz, country, blues, pop, and rock and were recorded and broadcasted by Brookline Interactive Group. 

Starting Saturday, June 25 Celebrate Music 2016 presented: Coolidge Corner Library Coffee House summer concert series, with free concerts of

ArtsBrookline Celebrate Music Coffeehouse Series

local musicians in The Meeting Room at the Coolidge Corner Library in Brookline from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Concerts will be presented on three Saturdays: June 25, July 9, and July 23.  Performers include established and up-and-coming talent including Amir Siraj, Scott Card, Noah Sesling and company, Ryan Sweezey, RD King, Josie Lowder, Jack & Katie, Too Klez for Comfort, Hailey Magee, Carolyn Fahrner, Adrienne Arditti, and many others.  Relaxed atmosphere, drop in at any time.  Stay 30 minutes or the full 3 hours!  Free coffee and treats provided by local vendors.

On Saturday, June 4 under a clear blue sky, Brookline’s 1st Porchfest was brought to you by ArtsBrookline and Brookline Music School and the 38th annual Coolidge Corner Arts Festival, organized by a group of local merchants, displayed high end arts & crafts from over 70 artists.  Here are a few images from this awesome day of arts in Brookline:

- Art lovers dined on delicious selections from members of the Boston Food Truck Alliance

- Drank in the wine and beer garden provided by Hive.

- Shopped while listening to DJ Magic Mark.

- Stayed for the jazz which was part of the first annual Brookline Porch Fest.
