A super talented young pianist with more awards and honors than seems possible at his age.
Amir Siraj is a Brookline High School student who has played at venues including Carnegie Hall and Boston’s Symphony Hall. A top prizewinner at local, national, and international competitions, Amir has performed with numerous regional orchestras and prestigious organizations including the Harvard Musical Association and the American Liszt Society. He has been the recipient of many prestigious prizes for his performances. In 2015, Amir was selected as one of twenty-four young pianists in the world to participate in the Cliburn International Junior Competition and Festival. Amir has generously performed for many organizations to bring music to hospitals, senior living communities and children’s museums. This past year, as an Arts Leader with From the Top in Boston, Amir organized a concert in partnership with Music For Food to raise funds for local hunger relief, raising enough funds to provide over 5,000 meals for community members in need.

Building on studies of Miles Davis, Wes Montgomery, Jim Hall while simultaneously playing JS Bach, Heitor Villa-Lobos and Leo Brouwer on classical guitar, Scott Card is creating a sound all his own.
