Jazz composer/pianist Brian Friedland presents an evening original of compositions and creative arrangements with his long time collaborators in the Man On Land Trio and Household Items Band. Expect a night of music full of imagination, warmth, and humor, delivered by skilled musicians with a special musical chemistry forged by a decade of playing together. Friedland’s premieres will include a bright and melodious dedication to his new daughter, a funky ode to late night snacks, and songs based on a ridiculously hyperbolic Tazo Tea label. There may be a few more new compositions depending on how much sleep Friedland’s daughter allows him.
