What is beauty? What is sonic beauty? In what sounds, and in what spaces, do we find aural beauty?

This program – all of which combines acoustic piano music with live interactive electronics – explores two radically diverse musical aesthetics, and aims to share the beauty in both. One aesthetic is heavily focussed on noise and noisy elements: scratchy tones, tonal clusters, and static; the other is lush, sparkly, harmonically rich, and hinting at minimalism.

All ages are welcome. Note: there will be loud sounds.

Free and open to all; donations are accepted at the door.
