Candlelight, Cocktails & Broadway!

More than twenty years ago, part of my freelance musical life involved playing Broadway shows at the Wang Center. One of my more memorable experiences was the summer I played Phantom of the Opera, where I made a great friend named Nat Chandler, a wonderful singer-actor who played the role of Raoul. Through 16 weeks of 8 shows a week we formed a close bond. We thought up a million ways to keep ourselves entertained and stave off boredom, one of which was pretending that he was singing directly to me in the pit orchestra.

We are honored to welcome him as the main attraction for our upcoming Mistral party, Candlight, Cocktails, & Broadway! at the home of Marilyn Ray Smith & Charlie Freifeld

Nat will bring selections from Broadway & the Great American Songbook into two private homes to support Mistral’s 19th concert season and outreach programs.
