5:30-6:15pm – Ryan Sweezey
Infectious melodies, killer voice, and outstanding guitar skills, Ryan Sweezey is on the move, delivering consistently excellent folk/rock at venues around Boston. A recent Northeastern grad, Ryan is getting noticed by aficionados and the press – catch him at Hunneman Hall while you can!
6:30-7:15 – RD King
Boston-based composer and acoustic guitar virtuoso, R.D. King is coming to Hunneman Hall! King’s audiences describe his music as passionate, powerful, deeply memorable, and extraordinary. King draws inspiration from literature, philosophy, psychology, and meditation. He has been influenced by travel to diverse locales including Qatar, Greece, England, and the South Pacific. A graduate of Ithaca College School of Music, King performs at venues in New England and beyond.
7:30-8:15pm – TRY
Virtuoso slide guitarist Niles Elliot and Dylan Edmunds met and began collaborating in college at Berklee College of Music with Dylan’s brother, Conner, arriving at Berklee and joining the collaboration. The three of them began writing and rehearsing in search of a sound they could call their own. With specialties in slide guitar, sound design, midi programming, and pop production, TRY’s style is maturing into a hybrid indie rock and electronica. After a year of writing, rehearsing, and recording TRY is performing around Boston & New York. Come to Hunneman Hall to hear this young band deliver a fresh sound!
