April 2, 2015 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Janet Echelman_Skies_Painted-with_Unnumbered_Sparks_Vancouver2014

Contemporary Perspectives Lecture Series: Boston University

Janet Echelman, a Brookline resident and installation artist, creates public sculptures on a massive scale. Her billowing, luminescent forms are created from intricately woven industrial netting, suspended above the viewer and activated by changes in light and weather conditions. Her upcoming project for the Rose Kennedy Greenway debuts in the spring of 2015.
